The
Hollisters Faye, (pictured left)Richard, (A Battery) Alan, and Linda
Hollister have all contributed to make the 455th reunions what they
are today. Faye is known to all of us as the FORCE behind the reunions.
Faye, with the help of her family organized the entire reunions
for years. She was a tremendous help to me in collecting and promoting
the memorial fund, selecting the memorial itself, and organizing
the trip itself although she was in the midst of cancer treatment.
Son Alan arranged all of the flights to England for the dedication
trip and carried on with the reunions with the help of Linda for
two years following Faye's death. Faye passed in April of 2001.
We all still miss her and at reunions we feel her presence.
